Solid hardwood can still be a great fit for homes with a proper wood subfloor, and we'll walk your specific house before recommending either one.
Engineered hardwood can, once we've tested the slab for moisture and installed the right underlayment or vapor barrier. Solid hardwood generally needs a wood subfloor, so it's not usually the right choice directly over slab.
